With Erminia Russo - Technical Director of Coaching

Erminia Russo was the first women's volleyball player at the University of British Columbia to be named an All-Canadian twice and captained Canada's national volleyball team for more than four years. Erminia represented the country on the court for more than eight years - including playing in the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta. She played professional volleyball in France, finished second at the 1994 Canadian Beach Volleyball Championships and was head coach at Western Ontario University for two years. Erminia went on to coach the University of British Columbia Thunderbirds and was the Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS) Coach of the Year in 1998. She has served as a CBC analyst for the last two Olympic Games for both indoor and beach volleyball and was inducted into the UBC Hall of Fame in 2007.
