2010 TRYOUTS FOR U14 BOYS AND U14 GIRLS NOW POSTED
Tryouts Begin the First Week of January

U14 Boys & Girls (born in 1996) are invited to tryout with the Saints Volleyball Club.
Prior playing experience is not necessary though previous experience at U13 and/or junior high school is helpful. Teams are not pre-selected or limited to one school, this is an open tryout.

Team-specific sessions will occur starting on January 8, 2010
Attendance will be limited to 12 or less players per session to ensure individual attention!

2010 CLUB SEASON TRYOUT SCHEUDLE IS NOW POSTED HERE

The U15 Girls, U16 Girls Black, U16 Girls White, and U17 Girls Teams are now formed.

There are two more tryouts for the U16 Boys Team and the U14 Boys and Girls Tryouts will start the first week of January 2010. This schedule will be posted next week.

5-Week Conditioning Camp

The U16 Saints hosted an Easter Camp with some of the St. Albert and Morinville residents currently playing for the University of Alberta Pandas. Thank you to St. Albert residents Jocelyn Blair, Daryll Roper, Krista Zubick and Morinville resident Samantha Wojtkiw and their teammates Jen Restall and Stacy Robertson for attending our two day clinic in St. Albert.

› We welcome Jocelyn Blair to our coaching team for the 2010 club season. Jocelyn, a UofA Panda alumnus, recently competed at the Universiade games for Team Canada. She will be the head coach for our U15 girls team.

› We welcome Erminia Russo to our coaching team as the Technical Director of Coaching for the club. Eriminia was the UBC womens VB coach and CIS coach of the year. She has, and will continue to provide, VB clinics to our senior teams as well.

› We welcome Anthony Wong to our coaching team for the 2010 club season. Tony has coaching experience at the club, high school and college level and brings a wealth of experience to our club. He will be the head coach of our U16 girls team.
